This seminar will cover practical ideas for working with children with behavioural, emotional and learning difficulties in mainstream and learning support environments. Self-esteem and concentration issues will be discussed along with ideas and inclusive themes for non-competitive and group projects. The themes and ideas presented are all easily integrated with SPHE curriculum strands. The content of this seminar is based on my clinical research and practical work with children in school environments.

The aim of this seminar is to further develop participants understanding of learning and creativity in the classroom/ home environments. It will expand on topics including whole brain learning, multiple intelligences and imagination. Topics covered will include relaxation techniques, nutritional information, right/ left brain integration, stress management and emotional balance. These simple, yet effective exercises and techniques are designed to achieve maximum results in only a few minutes and to be easily included in a daily schedule.
