Finnish Education Exhibition & Presentation
ImaginationGYM® are taking part in and presenting at a one day Finnish Education Exhibition. The Exhibition is on Friday 21st of November in the Wanha Satama Centre in Helsinki. The presentation will given by ImaginationGYM® to 1,500 Education and Childcare professionals. We're a little bit nervous!
IKSEN Conference 2009
ImaginationGYM® have been invited to present at the IKSEN Conference 2009 in Co. Cork, Ireland. The theme of the conference is "Honouring the past, Transforming the future".
IKSEN Conference in Italy
ImaginationGYM® will be attending the IKSEN Conference in Lake Garda, Italy from 1st - 5th of October. Peter Blackbyrne and Rosaleen Durkin will be presenting their paper titled "Use of Imagination and Whole Brain Balance in Clinical, Educational and Home Settings". The tile of the Conference is "Living in the Midline - Maintaining a constant awareness of yourself and perceiving the world from an inner point of view".
ImaginationGYM® in Melbourne
ImaginationGYM® was presented to delegates at a conference in Melbourne, Australia (22nd - 24th August 2008) on "Relaxation to Stimulate the Imagination". The teacher delegates were able to view some of the relaxation techniques employed in ImaginationGYM® at work. One delegate said of the conference title, "This is a huge and increasing problem as children struggle to cope with stress".
Move to Learn Seminar
The 2008 Move to Learn Seminar (August 3rd to 10th) in Savusavu, Fiji has been a very successful experience for ImaginationGYM®. It was organised in conjunction with the University of Sydney. One of our representatives, Mary Mountstephen, was in attendance to present the ImaginationGYM® Methodology which was well received by attending delegates. Mary works with several universities on holistic approaches in Primary Education and is a neuro-developmental delay specialist. She also runs training courses for schools nationally and internationally in visualization and neuro-developmental delay.
